This Crazy life

So I've been sick for a couple of days now and have had enough. I have many symtoms and not sure what it is, hopefully the doctor can figure it out today.

Rylee is doing great at school, we've finally gotten into the groove. Jakob doesn't look like he feels good either.

Thanksmas was wonderful this year, looking forward to it next year. Here's some resent pics of the kids.

Day 2

So I need to know am I the only one with the apprehension. Starting tomorrow I am suppose to just drop her off at the front of the school. Will she know where to go? Will a teacher direct her where she needs to be? I'm so scared for her but don't want her to know that because I want her to keep this conquerer of the world attitude she has about school. She's so proud of herself and loves school, but she's still my baby girl, I've been wondering if I made a mistake putting her in PreK but then she came home yesterday talking about all they did. Now that she's there again and I'm waiting to go get her I am wondering the same thing. Please tell me other moms go through this and I'm not just a freak!!!

Another one

Isn't life interesting, Rylee's preschool teacher was one of Tina's teachers in high school. Everytime I make a comment to anyone they seem to think I'm upset about something. I am not upset with anything or anyone, I just want to make a comment every once in awhile expecially when it deals with me and my family to. So take a deep breath and remember the eggshells won't break I hard boiled them. I love you all and here's some pics of the kids playing at Ry's new school and a pic of the kids with their wonderful cousins that just joined us here from Florida.

Finally an Update

Okay I figure if Britt can right a real update I can let everyone know how we're doing these days. Jeremy is over his 90 days on his new job and insurance will kick in Sept 1st (whoohooo). Rylee starts PreK August 25th (I'm kinda in shock), and I have loved going shopping for her new clothes. She's finally out of toddler and can start wearing 4's in little girls (they've got some cute outfits, Britt and I where wishing some of them where in our sizes yesterday). Jakob is well Jakob, he's finally talking legibly, I'm not sure how he will handle her starting school, but we will get through it. As for me I made the President's list at school again, I'm now the president of the evening chapter of the medical club, and am a ambassador of the school. I love school, crazy I know, but this was my choice so maybe I see it different then I did in high school. Don't get me wrong I'm still a social butterfly but I do my school work to ( this is why I haven't really had time to post lately).

Okay so now to the pics on how the kids are growing

Some people

1.People who point at their wrist while asking for the time.... I know where my watch is pal, where the hell is yours? Do I point at my crotch when I ask where the toilet is?

2People who are willing to get off their ass to search the entire room for the T.V.. remote because they refuse to walk to the T.V. and change the channel manually.

3When people say 'Oh you just want to have your cake and eat it too'. Damn right! What good is cake if you can't eat it?

4When people say 'it's always the last place you look'. Of course it is. Why the hell would you keep looking after you've found it? Do people do this? Who and where are they?

5When people say while watching a film 'did you see that?'. No Loser, I paid $12 to come to the cinema and stare at the damn floor.

6People who ask 'Can I ask you a question?'.... Didn't really give me a choice there, did ya sunshine?

7.When something is 'new and improved!'. Which is it? If it's new, then there has never been anything before it. If it's an improvement, then there must have been something before it, couldn't be new.

8When people say 'life is short'. What the hell?? Life is the longest damn thing anyone ever does!! What can you do that's longer?

9When you are waiting for the bus and someone asks 'Has the bus come yet?'. If the bus came would I be standing here, dumba**?

The Flowers from last weekend.

This weekends fun

Don't know how many of you know this, but my daughter watched a show a couple of weekends ago (last time Dad was here) about gardens, now that's all she talks about. So since we've started doing special weekend things, movie night, camping out in the backyard, and such. We decide today to plant a garden (the flowers around the tree are from last weekend). The only thing we where able to get where roses (made me happy). I hope y'all enjoy my and Ry's garden. Light pink is Ry's and Dark pink is mine.

Nursery Rhymes

Okay let's think about these things, they where always so sweet and fun when we where kids. But there is one I want to address "Sticks and Stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me". How stupid is this saying, we all know better then that, and it's even worse when it's family doing it. Please remember that words do hurt and do get back to the person you say them about and people you don't want to think of you as still a stupid high school student.

Friday fun

So we've started every Friday having a family night. Last friday we watched a movie and ate hot dogs in the living room. Well this friday we had hamburgers in the backyard, popsicles, and now my husband and children are asleep out there. We're camping in the backyard, it actually is so much fun. Pictures to follow tomorrow, tonight I have to go back out there before there daddy calls me a sissy lol. Hope y'all are all having fun.

Family

Isn't it strange how much I have wanted the Florida clan to move back and now it's 7 weeks away. I'm so excited, I'll have my nephews and niece close by, and my sister and I'll actually get to know my brother in law. Oh and everyone knows I'll love have my parents close by. I'm excited for mom and dad, they've been living in a hard situation for the last couple of months with daddy here and mom still there, but that will change in 7 weeks!!

No matter how exciting it is I do have to admit that I'm a little nervous to. Jeremy and I have spent the last 10 years with out them and I know there's going to be a transition stage after they are back. But that's okay I will take it just to have them close to me again.

I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!

Mr. Young

This post is for a gentleman that left a comment on my page a long time ago that I just found. I hope you are keeping updated with our family and I hope we can bring a smile to your face. Yes there are still Skogen's out there. My husbands family is from the South Dakota area, who knows maybe we are related some way or another. Anytime you just want to say hi leave a comment and I'll write you back, now that I'm back in to doing this more often. Hope you are well.

School

I've started my inclass classes Monday, I was so nervous but it's a blast. I'm taking Basic Clinical Labs right now and the teacher is amazing. She's a RMA and was explaining all the different opportunities we have and how much money we can make. Yeah I'm really glad I chose this field, J said if I make that much he'll become a stay at home dad lol. Anyways thought mom would enjoy seeing the pic of me in my scrubs, hopefully we will get a better one later, J was tired and wouldn't stand up to take the picture so I look kinda funny.
